This cable works perfectly with my Microsoft Surface. I can easily plug it into its micro-HDMI port and instantly be able to hook it up to a projector via VGA. There weren't any driver issues when connecting and it works like a charm.
I bought this for my ASUS VivoTab Smart ME400C-C1-BK 10.1-Inch 64GB Tablet. I works fine. Connection is stable, and it output to my 1080P TV with its aspect ratio, without cutting off the edges etc. Whether you should do a duo screen with a TV on a tablet is a separate question though.

What a difference an adapter makes. I've learned that there's HD adapter and none HD adapters. Some only output 1024 x 768 pixels, this device delivers 1920 x 1080 beautifully.
